Class Descriptions

TRX Suspension Training

The  TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system  that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of  exercises.

You're  in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise -  because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease  resistance.  This class is perfect for all fitness levels as  modification can easily be given for all exercises.

Cardio Kickboxing

Cardio-boxing  is one of the best forms of exercise, because it conditions the total  body and provides a complete workout for your cardiovascular and  endurance systems.

The major benefits of cardio-boxing include:

  • Increased Stamina
  • Increased Strength
  • Increased Speed
  • Increased Coordination

During  this 45 minute class, you will work through 3-4 rounds of exercises  with a set of 3lb weights.  The exercises are developed to not only get  the heart pumping, but also work your muscles from head to toe.  If you  are looking for a total body workout with an excellent caloric burn,  then this class is for you!  All fitness level are welcome and the  weights are optional.  

Strength and Stretch

Strength training not only makes you stronger and fitter but it also protects bone health and muscle mass, something that is extremely important as we age.   Regular weight and resistance  training assists in developing better  body mechanics and can help with chronic disease management.  The  Strength Training class is designed for all fitness levels.   Modifications are always provided and are assigned with the specific  injury or limitation in mind.

Mobility Training

Mobility  class is for your JOINTS and spine. We work on the neck, the shoulders,  the wrists and ankles as well as the hips. We also focus on the spine.  Mobility of the joints refers to the  ability of a joint to move through its normal range of motion, which can  vary depending on the type of joint. Good joint mobility is essential  for performing everyday activities and maintaining overall physical  function.  

During  class we move through a dynamic warm up of all the joints before moving  to the seated position where we run through a series of movements and  flows. We then move to the standing position using the chair for  guidance before moving to the ground to end with the last series of  flows.
